Egg, bacon and cheese bagels for breakfast with the
usual ‘too hot’ coffee. American coffee is so hot, most of them almost burn the
coffee but apparently this is the style since Starbucks ‘took over’.
Off to REI – Paul had been really looking forward to
this giant outdoors store – to buy some hiking boots and rain jackets. They had
an amazing sale and we bought up big but didn’t spend big.
Then a photo opportunity at Bergen Town Centre – just
couldn’t find any ‘vans’.
Such a beautiful day so we came back early to sit on
the back deck in the sun watching Henry turn Paul into a climbing gym.
Paul learnt to make Texas Chili.
