Monet's Garden

Us in Monet's Garden

Through the mists of Northern France, we drove through quaint little villages and rolling hills multi-coloured with various crops. Sorry, no photos as the mist was too grey and dense – and it was raining, and it was freezing. And here we were thinking we wouldn’t need our thermals until Cornwall!
Arrived at our gorgeous B&B (Les Jardins d'Helene) in Giverny, in the same street as Monet’s Garden and although the B&B garden was much smaller it was just as pretty.

Monet’s house and garden were lovely. It was funny to watch various tour groups hustled through to the water garden, up to the house, through the souvenir shop and out to the bus! Not that we are tour bus kind of people but this trip has reconfirmed our feelings about organised tours.
I think this is a place where the pictures will tell the story:

Something cute near the B&B - the house :)
